Thank you to our sponsors!

Girls Inc. provides year-round after-school programming, weekend activities, and experiences that expand upon and support girls’ STEM learning and engagement.

Through hands-on activities, girls explore, ask questions, persist, and solve problems. By interacting with women and men pursuing STEM careers, girls come to view these careers as exciting and realistic options for themselves and girls get the chance to see how STEM makes the world a better place.

Girls Inc. PNW’s mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Our research-based programs are delivered by trained staff and volunteer leaders who focus on holistic youth development, supporting, mentoring, and guiding youth in an affirming, inclusive environment. Why Celebrate International Day of the Girl?

In 2011, the United Nations established October 11th as International Day of the Girl to raise awareness about the unique challenges facing girls and women worldwide. While our country (and world!) has made significant advances in gender equity, we still have a ways to go. Our 2021 campaign celebrates the #GirlsIncDifference. We’ll explore how the Girls Inc. Experience (people + programming + environment) is unique in organizations serving youth and therefore creates the #GirlsIncDifference.
