Let's come together to help inspire young women to be as strong, smart, and bold as possible.

What is Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest?

Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest's mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Research-based curriculum delivered by trained staff provides the "Girls Inc. Experience", which equips girls to navigate gender, economic and social barriers. Learn more about Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest.

What will our donations support?

Girls Inc. PNW youth participate in programming and experiences that help them build the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they need to thrive now and as adults.

Why Celebrate International Day of the Girl

In 2011, the United Nations established October 11th as International Day of the Girl to raise awareness about the unique challenges facing girls and women worldwide. Our 2021 theme celebrates the #GirlsIncDifference. We’ll explore how the Girls Inc. Experience (people + programming + environment) is unique in organizations serving girls and non-binary youth.

Why join my team?

As a Board Director and Portland Committee Lead with Girls Inc. PNW, I know that my efforts and financial support makes a significant difference in the lives of local youth. By being part of my team, you will join a community of like-minded individuals that are passionate about inspiring every girl to be strong, smart, and bold.

All donations directly support Girls Inc. PNW youth. Learn more about Girls Inc. PNW programming.

Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest's mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Make a gift today to help us advance our work, so more Pacific Northwest youth get to experience the #GirlsIncDifference.

What does Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest do?

Girls Inc. PNW’s mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Our research-based programs are delivered by trained staff and volunteer leaders who focus on holistic youth development, supporting, mentoring, and guiding youth in an affirming, inclusive environment. Here, participants learn to value their whole selves, discover and develop their inherent strengths, and receive the support they need to navigate the challenges they face. Why Celebrate International Day of the Girl?

In 2011, the United Nations established October 11th as International Day of the Girl to raise awareness about the unique challenges facing girls and women worldwide. While our country (and world!) has made significant advances in gender equity, we still have a ways to go. Our 2021 campaign celebrates the #GirlsIncDifference. We’ll explore how the Girls Inc. Experience (people + programming + environment) is unique in organizations serving youth and therefore creates the #GirlsIncDifference.
